Faith | I wonder how he shaped industrial-looking containers out of plastic, from home? That part of the invention process has always baffled me...how does a person, without a factory, manufacture a prototype for an item that will be factory-made? Anyone know? Business lesson appreciated! |
Dee | Cool Idea! I'll get a few, although i try to lay of noodles i always keep a few boxes of ramen in the house as a staple |
AcousticGod | I can't hear the video at work. As for ideas on how to self-create plastic things, a couple ways come to mind. One is creating a mold, and using resin. The other is the new 3D printing technology. 3D printing would be the easier route if you know how to use design software. I know that a wide variety of materials can be used with the 3D printers, but I'm not certain if the black microwave plastic is one of the materials. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRv4jp-hhBE |
Faith | Thanks AG, interesting video. I'm still curious about other options. |

katatonic | the money part can be solved by persuading an investor - private or govt - to stump up. indeed there are govt programs and private organizations set up for just this sort of financial solution. |
Randall | Wow! Maybe one day, gravity will power larger things! ------------------ "Fall down 100 times, get up 101...this is success." --ME |
